Get four boxes. Label them “Keep”, “Trash”, “Give Away”, “Relocate”.
Start with one room. Take each item and place it into one of these boxes. Then clean the room, put back the “keep” things. Find the right place for the “relocate” items in other rooms. And for the two remaining boxes, you know what to do.
