Read a Book – And Start Doing

If reading a book could magically turn you into a master of skills, life would be a breeze! And yes, reading definitely helps you learn new things. But it can’t replace the real-world experience of actually doing it.

Think about those books that teach you how to play better golf, fix your car, or tidy up your home. Even all those social media posts, reels, and videos are just digital versions of knowledge. They’re fantastic for getting you inspired and providing information when you need it.

But here’s the thing: they can’t actually make things happen. You have to take the plunge and do it yourself. You have to get started, maybe mess up, learn from it, start over, and eventually succeed.

Seneca, the Stoic philosopher, once said, “Begin at once to live, and count each separate day as a separate life.” The biggest hurdle to getting started is waiting for the perfect moment, which, let’s face it, never comes.

So, are you done reading? Great! Let’s get started.
