Truth?

“There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” (Søren Kierkegaard)

You have the power to make your own decisions. You can choose to accept a lie or mistake without verifying the facts. Alternatively, you can close your eyes to the truth because it might be uncomfortable or challenge your existing beliefs.

Ultimately, it’s your decision. No one else can judge you but yourself.

Søren Kierkegaard was a philosopher who lived in the mid-1800s (1813 – 1855), which means his life was quite brief, lasting only 42 years. Despite this, his philosophical ideas are incredibly detailed, and he’s often called the “father of existentialism.”
